Sarah Cohen

Sarah A. Cohen is a native Floridian, born and raised in Hollywood, Florida. She graduated cum laude college from the University of Florida in 2008 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a minor in Business Administration. Following graduation, Ms. Cohen spent time living in Israel before going on to attend the University of Miami Law School. It was there that she developed her passion for serving her South Florida community through the law. During her time in law school, she interned at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office. Ms. Cohen was also the Managing Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review. In 2012, not only did she receive her Juris Doctor, but she graduated magna cum laude and as a member of The Order of the Coif. Shortly after graduation, she became a member of the Florida Bar. Ms. Cohen began her legal career serving the community by working as an Assistant Public Defender at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office. During that time, she handled various misdemeanor and felony cases and was lead counsel of several trials. Now Ms. Cohen works tirelessly serving people who have been injured due to the negligence of another. She has been proud to serve, and advocate for, her community in this capacity, as an attorney at Cohen and Cohen Law, since 2015.
