Irwin Cohen

Irwin Cohen is a founding partner of Cohen & Cohen Law, along with his twin brother, Bernard Cohen. Following graduation from law school in 1967, Irwin Cohen moved to South Florida from Brooklyn, New York. Once here, Mr. Cohen began passionately advocating for people who were injured as a result of another’s negligence. In 1970, he and his brother opened the doors of Cohen & Cohen in Miami-Dade County and has been committed to the expansion of the practice to be able to serve injured people throughout the State of Florida. It has been a true honor for Mr. Cohen to be able to advocate for the needs of others for over the past 50 years. Mr. Cohen’s specialty is personal injury litigation involving complicated trials, in which he has extensive knowledge and experience. Mr. Cohen has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1968. He is also a member of the New York Bar and Colorado Bar. In addition, Mr. Cohen is a member of the American Bar Association and the Association for Trial Lawyers of America, in which he has received Stalwart status and is a member for the Florida Justice Association. Irwin Cohen is also committed to serving his community outside of the legal realm. He has received numerous community service awards for the many charities that he has been involved in and supported over the years.
